This award is open to indigenous Irish organisations and the Irish-based operation of multinational companies that have developed and deployed an organisation-wide Lean Strategy for overall productivity and competitiveness improvement that encompasses the Socio (Lean Leadership, Employee Engagement, Culture) and the Technical (Operational Excellence Systems & Methods, Lean Tools & Techniques, Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Waste Reduction, Productivity Increases).

The Judges will want to know everything you have done/do to achieve your strategic objectives, clearly identifying the development of a Continuous Improvement Culture across all areas of the organisation. You must explain what you have achieved so far and what you hope to achieve in the future in your ongoing Lean Journey. The Judges will want to see evidence of an overall strategy that sets out your targets and how you plan to achieve them, along with clear evidence demonstrating year-on-year comparative improvements.

Entry

Applicants must submit via the web-form below, paying particular attention to the following aspects for this Award:

  • Organisation/Enterprise-wide approach
  • Lean Strategy Deployment
  • Impact & Improvements:
    • resulting growth
    • enhanced competitiveness
    • cultural advancement
    • etc.

Applicants must:

  • upload a PDF file of 3-to-5 A4 pages as their core submission;
  • upload a complementary video, noting that Judges will be particularly keen to view raw/authentic video footage (e.g. hand-held mobile) of exemplary areas/initiatives as opposed to more formal corporate videos;
  • upload a high-resolution (300dpi) PNG/JPEG file of their organisational logo; and
  • name the person who would collect the trophy, if successful
